Hello everyone,

Here at Yorkson Studio we have all gotten to a great start in our 2019 journey into learning the language of Music and Art. We are so excited to see what this year of exploring the arts brings for all of you. Thanks for being a part of this journey with us here at Yorkson Studio.

INFORMATION:
We have just a few things to communicate with you for the next upcoming months:

1) Art Classes: we have 3 spots available for the Thursday 3:30-5:00 pm Class. It will run for 8 Sessions of learning to Paint. Come and join in the fun with our amazing art teacher Alexandra Fischer

2) Guitar, Ukulele, Voice and Piano Lessons: Our teachers are working hard and their schedules have filled up quickly since we started this Yorkson Studio. There are now limited spots available for taking new students at present. If you know of anyone interested, it would be advised to have them sign up sooner than later. As soon the next step would be to get on a waiting list for lessons starting in the fall.

3) Registrations for the Kiwanis Music Festival: Entries are due February 1st. Please communicate with your teacher if you wish to participate in this music festival.

4) Registrations for the Spring RCM Music EXAMS: Registration is now open for the May Theory and the June 2019 Practical examinations. Please make arrangements with your teacher to register for these exams if you wish to take an exam at this time.

5) February Lessons with Marlene Bartsch: Marlene will be away from February 9-24.
There will be a fabulous substitue teacher filling in for Marlene at this time. Marlene will
discuss the details with you in person. Please contact your teacher directly if you need
to during this time.

6) March Break: There will be NO scheduled lessons from March 16-31. Unless your
teacher has made other arrangements with you.

7) STUDIO HOURS: The Studio is open weekdays. We are here to communicate with you
during studio hours as well as Saturdays. Sundays we are closed, and any
communications on Sundays (texts etc) will be responded to on Monday mornings.
